Mainland China E71 (RM-493) differences

The E71 currently being sold in mainland China does not have

802.11b/g WLAN networking or a back mounted camera. 3G was also excluded, because licenses for 3G in mainland China were only approved in early 2009. There is no reduction in price for phones lacking these features and a firmware update will not bring them back because the hardware itself is missing. The E71 sold in Macau and Hong Kong do not lack these features. The software bundled with the Chinese version is slightly different, as it also has a QQ client, along with some other Chinese specific programs.
